the Lobby

if/when we begin construction on lobby hallway, one contractor i spoke was concerned about people passing through during certain parts of demolition and construction.  while it's do-able to allow people to walk up and down hallway while work is being done, the constant interruptions of work could easily triple the labor time required to take down existing walls and floor and put in the new ones.
is there any alternative to using front door?
could we negotiate with dental office to walk thru their space to get to bathroom at door at back of the hallway?
or could we negotiate w Morrises to use exterior door adjacent to our building's front door to walk down stairs and thru the basement to get to the elevator next to the laundry room?
i'm not familiar with back door - where does back door go in the basement and could that be an option?
